Hey!

My name is Maddy. I studied at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin, where I received my BS in Nutrition and Dietetics.  I eventually became the Director of Dietetics at a local hospital, where I experienced the thrill of managing a team of dietitians.  I serve as the President for the Nevada Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and in 2019 I was awarded Nevada's Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year.

 

My nutrition counseling style has an emphasis on intuitive eating; a concept that embraces ones ability to honor hunger cues and reject societal dieting rules.  As the sole owner of Desert Dietitians, I'm very enthusiastic about serving Vegas, using food to improve the lives of its locals.
