Madeline Belaustegui, RD
Maddy studied at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin receiving her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics. She eventually became the Director of Dietetics at a local hospital, experiencing the thrill of managing a team of dietitians. She served as President for the Nevada Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics from 2020-2023. In 2023 she was awarded Nevada's Outstanding Dietitian of the Year.
Maddy's nutrition counselling style has an emphasis on intuitive eating; a concept that embraces one's ability to honor hunger cues and reject societal dieting rules. As the founder of Desert Dietitians, she is enthusiastic about serving Vegas, using food to improving the lives of locals.
